DWA-131, driver configuration and installation rtl8192eu
Well, while trying to do some troubleshooting to get this device working I found a blog where we get an explanation about how to get it working. This worked with Debian, didn't test it with other Linux distribution.

"Early models in round cases used chipsets which now have inbuilt support (rev A- realtek 8192su, rev B – realtek 8192cu), but the newer ones (revision E) use a realtek 8192eu. There is a driver available from D-Link, but for me it was a kernel-panicky mess.
This is a list of instructions that I used to install a driver hosted by github user jpostma which seems to be the official realtek driver with patches (for what? not sure, but it works) applied.
User Brainiarc7 suggests using https://github.com/Mange/rtl8192eu-linux-driver which also has patches applied, as it is “Newer, and currently under maintenance.” I had a look at it, and it already has the DWA-131 device id, so I recommend you use it first.
This is for an ubuntu based linux distribution, but for others the principle is the same.
Plug the adapter in and determine the device ID, ensure it is 2001:3319 otherwise you have a different device:
$ lsusbBus 001 Device 004: ID 2001:3319 D-Link Corp....
Ensure you have the necessary prerequisites:
$ sudo apt-get install linux-headers-generic build-essential git
Clone the github repository with the driver source code:
$ git clone https://github.com/jpostma/rtl8192eu.git
Once the repository is downloaded, edit rtl8192eu/os_dep/linux/usb_intf.c
and add the device ID of our card, at around line 321.

Edit rtl8192eu/Makefile and change 2 things:
- At about line 16 add a # to comment out a flag that causes compile problems on recent kernels:
#EXTRA_CFLAGS += -Wno-error=date-time
- At about line 42 edit the line to switch power saving off:From:
CONFIG_POWER_SAVING = y
To:CONFIG_POWER_SAVING = n
Compile the driver:
$ cd rtl8192eu$ make
If there are any problems with compilation go back and fix them (install libraries, etc.) before proceeding.
Install and load the driver:
$ sudo make install$ sudo modprobe 8192eu
This is what worked for me, and since setting it up it’s been flawless. "

Sinfonía Los Planetas Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara
Ayer por la noche asistimos al evento "Sinfonía Los Planetas" como parte de las actividades de la FIL del presente año.
Para ingresar fue necesario formarse una larga fila porque como es parte de nuestra "cultura", nos "apartamos" lugar y no pocos fueron los que se iban pasando o metiendo entre los asistentes que ya tenían cierto tiempo esperando.
No se colocaron asientos numerados, por lo que tenías que ocupar tu lugar y pedir que te lo apartaran por si querías comprar algo para beber/comer o algo más.
Cuando finalmente dió inicio el evento, la experiencia no fue de lo más satisfactoria, el volumen era demasiado alto, habría sido preferible (¿y posible?) escuchar a la Orquesta Filarmónica de Jalisco sin las bocinas que colocaron.
En cuestión visual fue todo lo contrario, las pantallas que colocaron permitieron observar las secuencias de video que se asignaron a cada planeta.
Como experimento considero que resultó bien a secas, ya que trataron de ampliar el rango de actividades y público con estos conciertos en específico, ojalá que en el futuro podamos seguir gozando pero con una mejor calidad de audio.

Hoy inició transmisiones el nuevo canal llamado "Imagen TV".
Y........ nada nuevo bajo el sol.
Actualización Feb/2018: Y meses después de ver aleatoriamente otros programas, lo único rescatable es que transmiten algunas caricaturas "retro" el fin de semana.
El conductor del noticiero o resumen informativo por los breves minutos que lo ví, me parece tendencioso, el que comenta notas relacionadas con la economía, falto de tacto y respeto al público.
Seguimos con la TV "apagada", en lo que se refiere al contenido de canales públicos.

Torrencial lluvia, corrientes e inundaciones en TGZ.
Después de la torrencial lluvia (¿o tormenta?) que se presentó esta noche en TGZ, la ciudad revive los problemas de corrientes e inundaciones.
Muchas críticas apuntan a las autoridades en todos los niveles que habían prometido (prometer nunca empobrece) que se había trabajado en la infraestructura necesaria para evitar esta situación.
Nos olvidamos que la ciudad se encuentra entre dos montañas y que en los últimos años el crecimiento de la mancha urbana, en ocasiones planeada y otras por asentamientos irregulares (invasiones) a zonas donde solían haber árboles que frenaban el desplazamiento del agua, tierra y piedras; sufre ahora las consecuencias de perder esas barreras naturales.
Es muy fácil apuntar el dedo para señalar "al resto" cuando la basura tapa las alcantarillas y se evita que el agua fluya, pero no hacer conciencia cuando se es parte del problema y resulta fácil tirar la basura en cualquier parte menos en los botes de basura.
Ésto será un problema que se repetirá en los próximos años lamentablemente, en algún punto se alcanzará una solución técnica, pero no cívica. Esa dudo mucho que llegue a permear en la población, a fin de cuentas adoptamos la actitud errónea porque "porque voy a hacerlo yo, que lo haga otro".

D-Link USB Wireless N 300 Mbps DWA-131
Today I bought this nano USB wireless adapter, I was planning to use it to replace the wireless card (that still works) of this very old Gateway laptop.
So far I failed and probably will not succeed 'cause this doesn't seem to work with Debian despite I found that this "revision" seems to work with Ubuntu, which is frustrating 'cause that's not the distro I want to use.
Frustation Level: Like the old times when you had a "winmodem" and couldn't make it work.

Posiblemente me emocioné con los adelantos (dicen que son lo mejor, dicen), me quedé con la sensación de que algo faltó, no estoy seguro si fue la ausencia de Will Smith o los nuevos personajes, pero no salí del cine convencido de querer verla de nuevo.

Today the situation went out of control, the police throw tear gas at civilians trying to evict people blocking the main streets and other points to the east and west of the city
The protesters built barricades to immediately set them on fire, a helicopter flew over the area and chose to increase flight range because a "cuete" explode very very close to them.
At that moment I realize the risk that the pilot and those who are with him are exposed to (and the rest of us), if that "cuete" had reached the pilot or any important piece of the helicopter, it is very likely to crash over the houses or the area where teachers/other people were blocking.
Did they not think that could happen? Who would be responsible for the possible consequences? You feel the adrenaline running through your body as you try to protect yourself while watching people fleeing the police attack.
What's the point of doing that? Why? In the end, the police stopped their advance because locals came out to demand to stop releasing gas as they were affecting elderly, pregnant women and children. And probably this wasn't even close to what people at other contries live day by day.
VivaAerobus envía(ba) SPAM.
El día de hoy 24 de Mayo de 2016 recibo correo no deseado (más conocido como SPAM) por parte de VivaAerobus y dado que fuí muy claro cuando compré mi boleto que no deseaba recibir publicidad, anexo la captura de pantalla que en su mensaje no viene la supuesta liga para darse de baja.
Es así como inicia el reporte con una chica de sotorpe técnico de VivaAerobus que se aprendió el guión de memoria pero sin ninguna iniciativa para tratar de resolver un problema, veremos que fin tiene.
Y de esa forma esta chica decidió no seguir en el chat e ignorar los datos/información/capturas de pantalla que envié para que arreglaran su propio problema.
He generado otro chat y al menos la persona que me atendió al menos (¿finge que?) tratará de buscar una posible solución y también les he dejado mensaje en Facebook, donde se limitan a responder lo mismo.

Dado que no hay respuesta en el segundo chat y por Facebook tampoco responden, he procedido a reportarlos como fuente de spam:

CNTE blocking main streets (again!).
Since May 15th, teachers part of CNTE/SNTE are blocking the main streets of Tuxtla Gutierrez, not the first time and certainly will not be the last time.
It doesn’t seem to finish soon, some days they are blocking gov buildings, schools, malls and the airport.
The thing is... there's people who support this movement and there's people who doesn't agree with them, mainly people who rent a space / have a bussines in downtown.
Why? because customers are affraid that police come to downtown and try to evict them or maybe people infiltrate and start a riot.
Some days a helicopter fly over downtown and teachers try to scare the pilot firing "cuetes".
I wish and hope that this claim/manifestation (call it the way you want), ends sooner than later or the the people from this city will suffer again and probably more than previous times, a note from 2014 with the city blocked by CNTE, floods in August 2015, unfinished work assigned by council since 2012/2013.

¿Por qué celebramos el "día del maestro"?
Algunos nos traen buenos recuerdos y otros no tanto, pero seguro todos tenemos al me os uno que dejó una huella importante en nosotros.
Lo cierto es que los maestros y maestras se convierten en parte esencial de nuestra vida.
Pero ¿qué sabemos del "Día del Maestro"? La historia nos dice que fue en 1918 cuando en México se llevó a cabo la primera conmemoración de este día, por un decreto
del presidente Venustiano Carranza.
La propuesta pretendía que se instituyera un día de homenaje a los docentes y que fuera el 15 de Mayo, fecha conmemorativa de la toma de Querétaro.
En realidad, sólo los mexicanos lo celebramos en esa fecha, pues en cada país hay una diferente, el que la Unesco estableció como Día Mundial de los Docentes es el 5 de Octubre.

Monitor USB AOC E1649FWU - DISPLAYLINK en Linux (Open Suse en Especifico)
La información que se encuentra en internet, dicen que hay que hacer blacklist el udlfb que es el driver viejo de este tipo de monitores, y utilizar el udl, pero al hacerlo se ve esto:
Por lo tanto, pues no sirve, asi que lo que sigue es, ir a la página del fabrincante del "display link chip"
Descargar Drivers

Dar permisos de ejecución a instalador.
Ejecutar de la siguiente forma
./displaylink-driver-(version) --noexec –keep
displaylink-installer.sh
pero solo sirve para Ubuntu, así que, en base a ese archivo, extraigo las siguientes indicaciones:
Agregar la configuracion para el udev

Copiar el archivo DisplayLinkManager a

Agregar la unidad para systemd, para el caso de opensuse uso:

para caso ubuntu es:

Se le da permisos de ejecución
chmod 0644 /lib/systemd/system/displaylink.serviceSe habilita en systemd
systemctl enable displaylink.service
Se copia libevdi.so a /usr/lib64
Se descompacta el codigo del módulo y se compila
tar -xvzf evdi-1.0.335-src.tar.gz makeDeja todos los archivos allí mismo, se ejecuta make
y genera:
evdi.ko
Lo copio a un directorio "bueno" en este caso lo puse en:
cp evdi.ko /lib/modules/uname -r/kernel/drivers/usb/misc/evdi.ko
Reinicio y veo que ya este todo funcionando.
Una última nota, el driver, es tragon de CPU... pero el monitor se ve muy claro.

Si en algún momento tienen la oportunidad de visitar San Cristóbal de las Casas, sugiero que aprovechen la oportunidad de probar todo lo que puedan de la comida típica regional (claro, habrá quien decida mejor visitar un local de pizza/comida argentina, pero.. ¿a qué fuiste si no era para conocer/probar cosas nuevas?).
