Yesterday I saw something similar like when you take a snapshot while using the OnePlus 6, my impression was that I somehow took one but I was wrong. Somehow I saw it flickering when I pressed the power button, eventually the battery was empty and after I recharged the flickering happened again.  Today in the morning happened again and I had enough, after some research found this page with instructions to fix it, my biggest concern was that it could be related to hardware, yesterday the cell phone slipped from my hand and although the hit against the ground was not strong I was suspicious that could be related. The first solution (reboot) didn't worked. The second solution (delete system cache) I tough it worked until I saw the flickering happening again trying to unblock the cell and doing a reboot.  I didn't try the third solution (a reset which implies losing all the data) or the fourth option (send it to "OnePlus service" which is not an opti...

I'm shutting down my Tor node. I'm doing this because my ISP (Axtel) for some unknown reason (for them) can't fix an issue with the Zhone gateway device. This is affecting the way the Tor node works and if I can't offer a stable connection the best I can do is to shutdown the node. This does not make me happy but at least I could share some bandwith and I want to believe that people who really needed was able to use it. So, this time I'm lucky to have a MinnowBoard MAX :) I'll do some tests installing Debian, Android and who knows? For now I just tested that boots, sends output using the HDMI port and was looking for places that might sell the cable to use the serial port.

I did something wrong while trying to install CyanogenMod to my LG P500h cell phone. Took me sometime but at the end, I fix it and it's running now, here's a screenshot: So you better read a lot and several times all those sites providing the steps to have CyanogenMod installed or you'll end with a useless device.
