So, "Movember" ended and seems obvious what's next. Yeah! it's that time of the year when you look back and try to remember the list made at the beginning of the year.

And just now you ask yourself  "What I did all this time?!" so just get ready because the time to eat and drink is just around the corner, you'll notice soon... one month from today you'll see that your body shape changed and will start that list of objectives.

And in one year, you will loose your body shape, again.  :P

Ya les había platicado sobre la tarjeta para ver la tv por cable en la computadora de casa. La tarjeta es de la marca Sabrent , reconocida por el kernel de Linux como Sabrent SBT-TVFM (saa7130) con chip Philips. Tuve un problema con udev ya que las aplicaciones que instalé con GNU/Linux Debian, me decían que no pueden acceder al dispositivo /dev/video0. Esto es porque udev lo crea dentro /dev/.static/dev/video0, pero el día de hoy las aplicaciones ya pueden acceder a este directorio, yo no hice nada realmente, supongo que es debido a una actualización de kernel que hubo recientemente. Este es el kernel que tengo instalado: 2.6.18-5-686 #1 SMP Wed Sep 26 17:54:59 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux Ahora si estoy más que contento de que la tarjeta funciona bien, la he probado con: kdetv tvtime xawtv Con todas las aplicaciones obtengo imágen y sonido, únicamente me haría falta instalar "lirc" para que funcione el control remoto y verificar que puedo escuchar las estacio...

Installation of OpenWRT on Linksys EA4500 / N900 1.-  It looks like this is very important and you must not skip it!!!! Download/install last oficial firmware by Linksys Ver. 2.1.42 (Build 183584) Latest Date:  9/19/2017 Download 22.6 MB From here: http://downloads.linksys.com/downloads/firmware/FW_EA4500_2.1.42.183584_prod.img Perform the "upgrade" 2.- After the reboot, perform the install of OpenWRT. I'm not sure but my attempts to install the very latest firmware failed, so I used the version mention on this chatroom: https://forum.archive.openwrt.org/viewtopic.php?id=60649&p=1#p304557 Post #21: Edit: that image you're running now might be old enough that you should flash the factory firmware first, then flash with https://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots … actory.bin . HOWTO : Find IP and/or MAC address of Brocade switch

If you have to work with Brocade Switches and for some reason you need to find out the ip and/or the mac address of the network interface, you might have to use (at least) two options, depending on the model/firmware version.
